Guarantee

We will guarantee against faulty workmanship and products for a period of one year.

Timescales

We will usually be able to get to you to provide a quotation within a few days of our making contact. The typical lead-time from quotation to engaging in the work is two to three weeks.

On the day

Our Joiner will usually arrive at about 9.30 am he will put dust sheets in the areas where he will work and in those he will walk through. We make every effort to work cleanly, however, dependent on the loft and the work you require of us, it can be a dirty job. If your loft is dirty and we are to extend the hatch or create a new opening you may want to remove items from the immediate area beneath the hatch.

Most of our customers are there on the day that we do the work. If that is not possible and you are comfortable with us being there when you are not then we are quite used to working in homes where the customer is absent.

Existing loft contents

We won’t be concerned by a reasonable amount and we can work around it. However if the loft is fairly full it will obviously cause the job to take longer than necessary which of course will add to the cost.

Loft Conversions

We do not do full loft conversions. The work we do is to provide a space for occasional use at a level that will not require planning permission or Building Regulations approval. If you are looking to convert the loft into a fully habitable room then unfortunately we are not the company for you.

Payment

We do not usually require deposits; however if the total costs exceeds £2000 we will ask for a 20% deposit. The Joiner completing the work will provide you with an invoice and payment is requested at that time. We will accept cash, cheque, credit or debit cards.
